So many of the images in advertising, TV, movies, and other media in the US promote an aesthetics that is white supremacist, capitalist/ consumerist, misogynistic, heterosexist--an aesthetics that is socially, psychologically, and physically violent.
I am working towards an accountable aesthetics. Collecting images of different kinds of beauty and eroticism are part of that work.
